The new Canon EOS Rebel T2i may be the perfect HDSLR for filmmakers - by Cameratown

Cameratown has posted their initial thoughts on the Canon EOS 550D / Rebel T2i.  Here's an excerpt:

• Full manual control of Aperture, Shutter, and ISO
• External 3.5mm stereo line-in for using external microphone
• HDMI-CEC output for connecting to HDMI ready televisions. The new CEC standard also allows basic functions to be controlled by a compatible TV remote"

I totally agree that the Canon 550D / Rebel T2i will catch the attention of film makers.  The Canon 550D is a very affordable camera with full HD capabilities.  With it's small size, the Canon 550D can be placed in tight spots to get creative angles for videos.
